Modius Sleep, a US Food and Drug Administration-cleared drug-free insomnia treatment device is now available to veterans through the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) program.
Developed by Neurovalens, Modius Sleep uses noninvasive neurostimulation to target key brain regions responsible for sleep regulation, helping users fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and improve overall sleep quality. It is worn on the head for 30 minutes each evening and sends an electrical pulse into the vestibular nerve.
“We are honored to make Modius Sleep available to veterans through the VA program,” says Jason McKeown, MD, CEO of Neurovalens, in a release. “Sleep issues are a significant challenge for many veterans, and we are proud to offer an effective, drug-free solution that can have a meaningful impact on their health and well-being. This partnership with the VA is a testament to our commitment to improving lives through technology.”
Veterans experiencing chronic insomnia can request Modius Sleep through their local VA healthcare provider or contact Neurovalens directly.
