Summary: LPG has developed a new Vitality-Stress-Sleep mechanical massage treatment protocol, scientifically evaluated in a clinical study involving the European Sleep Center and other institutions. This 40-minute protocol demonstrated significant improvements in sleep, stress, and vitality among participants. Results included reduced insomnia-related disorders, lower stress hormone levels, and enhanced immune function, emphasizing the protocol’s potential for holistic well-being.
Key Takeaways:
- Reduction in Insomnia: The protocol reduced insomnia-related sleep disorders by 54.7% and improved sleep quality.
- Stress Hormone Reduction: Participants experienced a 19% decrease in cortisol levels after a single session, with perceived stress halving by the end of five weeks.
- Enhanced Immune Function: The treatment increased t-lymphocyte levels by 9.4%, suggesting a boost in the body’s immune defenses.
LPG, a subsidiary of LPG Group, a French company that designs and commercializes noninvasive treatment solutions for the body and face, has developed a Vitality-Stress-Sleep endermologie treatment protocol that was shown to have a positive impact on sleep quality and insomnia, as well as stress and vitality.
Endermologie treatments are at the heart of the LPG Group’s flagship products, in particular the CELLU M6 Alliance, which reactivates cells through mechanical massage for aesthetic applications, as well as lymphatic drainage and edema.
A clinical study conducted by the French beScored Institute, in conjunction with the European Sleep Center, the University of Sydney, and the Cerballiance laboratory, sought to scientifically confirm the benefits of the Vitality-Stress-Sleep 40-minute endermologie treatment protocol using the Cellu M6 Alliance System.
After 10 sessions of 40-minute endermologie, the following improvements were noted:
Vitality:
- An increase of +9.4% in t-lymphocytes (white blood cells) that help fight infections and increase immune defenses
Stress:
- After a single session, levels of the stress hormone cortisol were reduced by 19%
- By the end of the five weeks, participants’ levels of perceived stress had almost halved (-49.4%)
- Levels of anxiety and depression were reduced by more than half (-50.9%)
Sleep:
“This is the first trial to conclusively prove that a series of mechanical massage treatments designed to target the lymphatic system can have such significant effects on so many aspects of mental health,” says professor Christophe Hausswirth, PhD, the trial’s independent clinical research director, in a release.
The benefits of LPG techniques have been proven by over 175 scientific studies.
