Bleep, makers of the DreamPort Sleep Solution that eliminated headgear via adhesive strips, has now launched its Eclipse CPAP mask to the US market. The Eclipse takes ease of use a step further by adding magnets.
The MagSeal technology facilitates a rapid on/rapid off of the interface, which is compatible with most CPAP systems. The disposable “Halos” are made of a surgical-grade adhesive that is PBA, corn, and latex free.
Magnets used in the Bleep Eclipse are within International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection guidelines for general public use. The magnetic strength is 65 mT. Ensure the mask is at least 0.8 inches away from any active medical implant or medical device (such as a pacemaker, defibrillators, neurostimulators, cochlear implants, and/or hearing aids) to avoid possible effects from localized magnetic fields.
The Eclipse mask application requires gentle cleansing of the nasal area using Bleep Dream Preps or a mild astringent (such as witch hazel or alcohol for oily skin); ensure skin is dry before applying ports.
Eclipse is made in the United States.
According to Bleep, Eclipse has forced replenishment with daily disposable A7033 and mask billing code A7034.
